Gamification

Retortal wanted a new feature that would keep users entertained and trying to achieve their goals. I came up with this Gamification feature. It allows them to track their followers and they get the next badge if they reach the next goal. Along with scheduling messages and reading social training material to help them as much as possible. The user is able to select their own game name and also avatar to give them a personalised experience.

Support

The support feature did not exist on mobile and only allowed people on desktop to create a support ticket if they had an issue. I therefore added this to mobile and have a simple Request Support button so the user can click that and ask for help. Below this the user can see all their open requests and their closed ones. By clicking on the support ticket it opens up the chat in which they can attach images, add their message and get the help they are after. This feature really helped users who didnt have great access to a desktop and enabled them to get the support they needed sooner.

Social Training

Similar to Support, Social Training did not exist on the mobile application. I added this with material style design on the boxes where the user can click on this open the training they need. The user can also use the sliding menu at the top to get into different categories easily and when they watch a video guide this opens up in a pop up on screen so they don’t have to leave the page.

Image Creator

The image creator was a feature that already existed on mobile, however the user experience was confusing and left a lot of people not using it. I updated it to give clear ways on how to use it. Adding a big plus button for the user to add either an image or more, and when they select an image or click on it the tools to edit what is selected come up automatically. By doing these changes Retortal have seen a rise in the users using this feature in the software.
